Entry #3 Faux News

Fox news is notorious for being extremely biased in how it reports the news, but of course they've always denied the accusations that their reporting is anything other than ethical and fair. It doesn't take much to make a decision for yourself on whether they are a reliable news source, as almost every story they cover ( whether written or broadcast ) has an element of biased rhetoric.

The video posted above is an excellent example of slanted media at its core as it completely favors one side without explicitly saying it. The entire premise of the video is surrounded around the idea that our choice for president next year could be between Hilary Clinton and .........Donald Trump.....

Thus bringing the conversation of what each candidate brings to the table. This is when things start to get biased. In the video it becomes obvious that the Republican correspondents who also work for fox are favoring Trump in this debate, which is to be expected as after all they are republican. The issue comes when there is an astounding lack of democrats on the panel to defend Clinton.

The correspondents weren't completely positive about their rep but among the jabs at his more outlandish policies they still managed to put in some good words for him...

"His bluntness has a refreshing charm that has pushed him to the lead."
"He is seen as a strong leader"

....But none for Hilary as they focus entirely on her faults. This is not at all surprising as Fox has always been known to lean towards the republican side. However the blatancy with which they do it is the real issue.

This all just proves that when watching or reading news stories you have to take everything with a grain of salt. Always search for more than one source of information so as to have the broadest idea of what is actually going on and what each of the candidates brings with them.

TL;DR Don't trust everything you hear
